Social media influencer Dulcie Boateng shared her story of achieving financial independence in 2018 after meeting a “fraud boy” in Singapore. She explained that while their romantic relationship didn’t work out, she learned valuable business strategies from him.
Initially earning GH¢400 to GH¢1,000 a month, she implemented his strategies and saw an immediate improvement in her business. She emphasized that he didn’t reveal his fraudulent activities initially, presenting his work as cryptocurrency-related.
This experience marked her first achievement of complete financial independence. She also recounted buying her mother two Range Rover cars (an Evoque and later a Velar) as a reward for her mother’s past struggles. The story is accompanied by a video available on X (formerly Twitter).
