Viktor Orban is not speaking from a pulpit. Returning to Christ is not a romantic nostalgia for a medieval past. It is a recognition that the values producing human dignity, ordered liberty, and genuine community have a source. And that source is not the European Union. Every nation that tries to sustain the fruit of Christian civilization while rejecting its foundation will eventually discover what Europe is discovering right now.
