All individuals seen in a recent viral video pleading for help have been safely rescued, according to police sources.
The successful operation was led through a joint effort by the Inspectors-General of Police in Ghana and Nigeria, backed by state security agencies. Several suspects linked to a transnational kidnapping ring have already been arrested in both countries.
Authorities say the victims are now receiving medical care and trauma support. Investigations are ongoing, with more arrests expected.
