Introducing The Eighth Butterfly: Ghana’s New Creative Agency and Social Enterprise

Believing in the African-Ghanaian dream means believing in its rich, layered stories; the kind that bring people, cultures, and civilizations together under one umbrella, without forcing it.
So, we’re introducing The Eighth Butterfly (TEB): Ghana’s creative agency and social enterprise, redefining African brands through bold storytelling, while staying close to the things that move the people we care about.
We believe African brands deserve storytelling as rich and layered as the cultures they come from. We believe a market woman’s instinct and a strategist’s discipline are not opposites, they are the same inheritance, worn differently. And we believe someone has to build the table before the rest of us can sit at it.

That’s the enabling environment we exist to create: one where African creatives, youth, and small businesses don’t have to shrink their stories to fit someone else’s template.
What We Do
The Eighth Butterfly operates across a full suite of creative and strategic services, including:
● Digital marketing
● Brand and communications strategy
● Event marketing and planning
● Campaign management
● Content creation
● Influencer and talent management
Beyond client work, TEB runs four programmes built to widen the table: Nyansakuo, a youth social and skills club focused on communication, digital skills, creative expression, and personal development; RefineryCX, a customer experience training programme equipping Ghanaian SMEs to serve their customers with confidence and consistency; Neighbour’s Santa, a community giving initiative connecting neighbours through acts of generosity and support; and The Vocal Employee Podcast, a workplace culture podcast giving voice to the people building brands from the inside out.
Built on One Belief
The Eighth Butterfly is built on the belief that the human being is the primary element of every story.
At the helm is Julia Nana-Fosua Dampare, known creatively as Amaephya, Founder and Lead Strategist of The Eighth Butterfly. With over nine years in strategic communications, brand management, and digital marketing including her tenure as Digital Marketing Lead at GTBank Ghana. She has built the agency on a simple conviction: brands grow fastest when their stories are told with both discipline and heart.
Join the TEB Creative Network
Today, we’re also opening the doors to something new: The Eighth Butterfly Creative Network; a curated community of creatives and young builders across Ghana and beyond who want to build alongside us. Whether you’re a designer, a writer, a poet, an editor, a photographer, or a business ready to grow, this is where we find each other, and where the next chapter of African brand storytelling gets built, together.
