The celebrated Northern Ghanaian culinary and
cultural experience is making its highly anticipated debut in the capital. The

Guinea Fowl Bazaar
arrives in Accra for the first time. Organised by By
Faith Catering Services in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority, the
Accra edition of the Guinea Fowl Bazaar will take place on
Friday, 1st May
to Saturday, 2nd May 2026
at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park.

Under the theme “Experience the North in
the South,”
the event brings the rich culinary traditions, agricultural
innovation, and vibrant culture of Northern Ghana to a wider national audience.

Since its inception in Tamale in 2019, the
Guinea Fowl Bazaar has grown into a nationally recognised platform that
promotes guinea fowl production, supports smallholder farmers, and celebrates
the unique food heritage of the North. The Accra edition marks a significant
milestone, expanding its impact and reach.

Attendees can look forward to a dynamic,
family-friendly experience featuring:

  • A wide variety of guinea fowl dishes: grilled,
    fried, smoked, and fresh
  • Authentic Northern delicacies and other local
cuisines such as Tubaani, Tuo-zaafi, Wasawasa etc
  • Cultural performances, traditional music, and
    storytelling
  • Exhibitions from farmers, food vendors, and
    agribusinesses
  • Networking opportunities with stakeholders
    across agriculture, tourism, and business

The event is expected to attract a diverse
audience, including policymakers, business leaders, development partners,
traditional authorities, and the general public. Our special Guest of Honour is
the RT. Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin  Speaker of Parliament, Republic of Ghana and
other dignitaries

The Bazaar aims to create a platform for
economic empowerment and cultural preservation. By connecting farmers directly
to consumers and showcasing the value chain around guinea fowl production.

With its expansion to Accra, the Guinea Fowl
Bazaar is set to become a flagship national event, bridging regions through
food, culture, and shared experience. It’s free entry for all.
