Bombardier Endorses Dangote Refinery as Game-Changer for Aviation

Canadian aerospace manufacturer Bombardier has praised Aliko Dangote’s multibillion-dollar refinery in Nigeria as a world-class facility and a major boost for the aviation industry.

Bombardier executives, including chairman Pierre Beaudoin, toured the refinery, the world’s largest single-train plant, and highlighted its environmentally advanced jet fuel production.

“The refinery makes jet fuel in large quantity, and that is good for the industry,” Beaudoin said, noting the fuel’s low-sulphur, eco-friendly quality.

The visit underscores confidence in the refinery’s ability to provide reliable, high-quality jet fuel, supporting carriers facing supply chain challenges and stricter emissions standards.

Dangote, Africa’s richest man, emphasized the facility meets international standards and can supply Nigeria’s domestic demand while exporting surplus globally.
