landmark achievement that significantly advances healthcare delivery in the
region.

He noted that strengthening critical healthcare
services is essential to the region’s development, describing the Foundation’s intervention

to deliver quality healthcare to all Ghanaians.

At the ceremony, the Chief Corporate Services and

Accident and Emergency block, built to international standards, is designed to
ease congestion, improve patient flow and enhance emergency response in the
Volta Region.

Dr. Hintermann K. K. Mbroh, CEO of Ho Teaching
Hospital, described the centre as a major boost to emergency care delivery. He
highlighted the emergency department’s critical role as the hospital’s frontline
for urgent cases, noting that the upgraded facilities will enable faster, more
effective lifesaving interventions. Dr. Mbroh underscored the importance of strong
public-private partnerships for healthcare advancement and commended the MTN
Ghana Foundation for its dedication to advancing healthcare infrastructure.
