Liberia: Choplife Gaming Secures License to Launch Online Sports Betting and Casino Operations

Choplife Gaming has been granted a license to operate online sports betting and casino services in Liberia, marking its official market entry.

This approval expands the group’s regulated presence to nine African countries, reflecting its continued growth across the continent’s digital gaming sector.

The company operates its proprietary brand Chopwin in The Gambia (chopwin.gm) and Sierra Leone (chopwin.sl) and represents the betPawa brand in Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Benin. The Liberian license further extends its multi-market operations.

Oluwatosin “Mr Eazi” Ajibade, Chairman of Choplife Gaming, commented:

“This authorization supports our strategy to deliver secure, mobile-first gaming platforms that are locally relevant. We look forward to working with stakeholders in Liberia to support economic participation and access to quality digital entertainment.”

Liberian users will have access to a regulated online sportsbook and casino offering, including sports betting, slots, crash games, virtual sports, and instant-win products, optimized for mobile use and mobile money payments.

Operations will be conducted in line with regulatory and responsible gaming standards, alongside local training and community initiatives to support sustainable industry development.
