Akon ‘snubs’ Shatta Wale for collaboration

Music leader, Akon has denounced claims making rounds on social media in Ghana that he’s going to feature Shatta Wale on a music project christened “Akon and Friends.

There were reports and several posts on social media suggesting that Shatta Wale was going to be featured on a project with Akon.

According to fans of Shatta Wale, this collaboration would have increased the artiste’s numbers and influence in the country and the African Continent.

But reacting to the claims he described as false, Akon said “For the record, I am not putting out a reggae compilation called “AKON and Friends“ I don’t know anything about this project, if you see it being promoted it’s not happening”.

This has put to rest the various trolls of other artistes on social media.
